Tasting note
The 2002 Cos d'Estournel showcases an impressive inky, black-purple color. The wine graces the palate with an extraordinary display of purity, balance, and intensity, reflecting perfect equilibrium and seamless integration of tannins, acidity, wood, and alcohol. Nevertheless, it also emanates a sense of elegance, presenting ample color and aromas, further enhanced by its spice and vigor. This sophistication is completed by a degree of polish that renders the wine refined and satisfying, making it a truly sophisticated glass of wine.
