Libby Tseng is one of the most respected voices in U.S. beverage education and a leading expert in both wine and sake. Holding a WSET Diploma in Wine from France and certifications as an SSI Sake Sommelier and Shochu Instructor from Japan, Libby is also the founder of Wine & Sake Academy, a platform dedicated to education and cultural appreciation.

More than a theoretical educator, Libby is a hands-on cultural explorer. Over the years, she has personally visited dozens of Japanese breweries, engaging directly with brewery owners and master brewers to deeply understand their philosophies, histories, and artisanal spirit. From these experiences, she developed a rigorous personal standard for selecting rare, small-batch jizake (local craft sake) known for their distinctive style and outstanding quality.
